These are for "four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath, 2,200 square foot house with a two-car garage in a nice, middle-class neighborhood."
San Jose ranked 7th in CA, at $1.4 million. (Is that correct? My parents' house has 4bed, 2bath, and about 1500 sq. ft. with a single car garage, but probably goes for $700K-800K.) That's even higher than San Francisco! Also, there doesn't seem to be any data for Los Angeles itself, nor for Orange County. Weird.
The figure for Dallas, TX, seems quite high. Certainly a lot higher than nearby Plano, not to mention Austin which I thought would be more expensive. Not sure what is going on there. Still, it goes for 1/5 of SJ's price, which is what I expected.
